ONL Bureau : Odisha Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today approved a total of six important proposals of different departments of the State government.While briefing the media after the Cabinet meeting Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja said that the 17th meeting of the state cabinet was held today in which six important proposals.

The six proposals that got the Cabinet’s nod today are

1. The Amendment of rule 79 of Odisha Excise Rules, 2017 which deals in “Regulation of working in a Distillery and other production Unit(Bottling/Brewery Units)”
2. Approval of “Odisha Lower Excise Service (Method of Recruitment and Conditions of Service of Excise Constables) Amendment Rules, 2025”.
3. Approval of the scheme namely “Emergency Medical Ambulance Services (EMAS)” (2023-24 to 2027-28) under IPTHHS-Phase II
4. Restructuring of the cadre of the Odisha Welfare Service and Odisha Subordinate Welfare Service.
5. The Odisha Children’s and Women’s Welfare Service (Amendment) Rules, 2025.
    
6. “Construction of distribution system for (A) 2221 Ha of CCA including Command Area Development (CAD) of Baitarani Left Bank Canal (BLBC) from RD 0.00 km to 28.50 km and (B) 1229 Ha of CCA including Command Area Development (CAD) of Baitarani Right Bank Canal (BRBC) from RD 0.00 km to 9.00 km through Under Ground Pipe line Irrigation system (Gravity Flow) of Anandapur Barrage Project in Keonjhar District of Odisha on EPC-Turn Key basis including operation and maintenance of the commissioned project”
